  • Aggression: Research has identified a gene called MAOA, often referred to as the “warrior gene.” People with certain variations of this gene may display higher levels of aggression, especially in stressful situations.
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD): ADHD has a strong genetic component. Children with a family history of ADHD are more likely to be diagnosed with the disorder themselves, suggesting that genetics plays a significant role in its development.
